THE SHOW & THE STAR…
Raven Events is bringing a piece of Vegas to the Valley by combining an entertaining singer, musician, songwriter, and impersonator named Lazarus straight from The Strip together with an 8-piece group of talented musicians. Get ready for an unforgettable night of live rock, funk, and R & B music! Fans of Lenny Kravitz will be treated to a visual and audio impersonation so on-point that they will forget they are witnessing an impersonation. Lazarus has the movements, gestures, vocals, appearance, and vibe of Lenny Kravitz down to a science and has been astonishing audiences all over the country with his talents. The show begins at 10 p.m.
THE BAND…
The performers for this show were handpicked for their musical capabilities and rare ability to complement Lazarus and the kind of tunes that require seasoned talent. This band with undeniable chemistry, consists of the following: Lazarus – Lenny Kravitz/Vocals/Guitar; Nick Granger - Guitar/Vocals; Junior Cota - Bass/Vocals; Mike Berrelleza - Keys; Joy Marlow – Sax; David Bedell - Drums; Charity Lockhart - Vocals; DeLaFonte – Dancer.
9 – 10 PM COCKTAIL RECEPTION…
Arrive early to enjoy a mix and mingle reception which includes delicious complimentary appetizers. Saxophonist, Joy Marlow, will be entertaining guests with her fabulous musical abilities during this hour.
The two full bars will be serving up the following cocktail specials: $3 Coors Light beers and $5 Pinnacle Vodka cocktails all night long.
MORE ENTERTAINMENT…
As a special treat, we’ll be presenting smooth vocalist, Charity Lockart, who will be singing some of the hit songs of Sade during the show. The band will also include some of Prince’s greatest hits!
DJ Old School will be on the turntables rockin' the hottest hits of the 70s, 80s, and 90s before, in-between and after the show along with live improvisational performances by saxophonist, Joy Marlow.
The show will be highlighted and presented by two entertaining Emcees: Lisa Weldon, who is a Singer, Artist and Broadcast Journalist, along with stand-up Comedian and Spokesperson, Matt Broome.
